Brazil worsens in ranking and happens to be the 6th with the most expensive energy in the world A ranking that measures the cost of energy for the industry was announced by Firjan (Federation of Industries of Rio de Janeiro) on January 9. It shows that the cost of this input in Brazil is 402.26 reais per MWh. The figure is 46% higher than the international average, of 275.74 per MWh.
