Chinese tools from Harbor Freight are an incredible price but the 1 ton Arbor press and 6" cross slide vise for my drill press required several hours of work to clean and smooth all the rough milling marks to make them work well. Still a bargain price but I'd like to pay someone else to deliver a clean tool to me for a little more money. Even Wilton make it's lower end stuff in China now - twice the price and not much better than the HF tools.
