That's all well and good as long as Xi plays by your script. China has three trillion dollars in reserves, a two+ million man army and no need to act quickly. Xi might just wait to see how the U.S. 2020 election turns out. In the meantime he can let the Yuan float and pretend to care about the trade negotiations. I have no idea what he will actually do, but I will enjoy the show either way.
