Digging holes and filling them in again, and breaking windows too?

Wars are necessary to keep order. They also boost the arms industry creating employment in steel, Technology and all industries which supports arms or weaponry.

That idea has always driven me nuts. 20 megatons over a dozen USA cities might seem a good idea to you for an economic boost but I prefer trade and invention.

Wars are not necessary to keep order either. Places that don't have wars do much better than those who do. Being civilised is the best way to keep order. We get on well with neighbours and haven't thought of shooting at them or chucking bombs over the fence.
