The reason hydrogen is considered as a vehicle fuel is because of Climate Change bullshit.

Hydrogen is horrible.

If there were megatons of it lying around waiting to be used, like oil, coal, methane, then it might make sense. But there isn't.

It's attached to carbon or oxygen. It's expensive to get it from the ground or the ocean into a car.

CO2 produced by people is not a problem. It's a good thing. At 1000 ppm it might worth reconsidering. But before we get there everyone will be dead. Peak People 2037. With fewer people and better technology CO2 will go out of fashion.

When, not if, an asteroid makes a splash in the Pacific ocean, there won't be talk of 20cm sea level rise in 100 years. It's instant sea level rise that is a problem. Recall Fukushima and many thousands of Japanese.
