I'd be a citizen, and I wouldn't be represented.
I say let the citizens of Jefferson decide whether to remain a part of California or become its own state.

Of course, Sacramento would never allow it. Heck, even the State Supreme Court ruled that the power of the California initiative doesn't apply to questions about splitting up the state:
