My main goal is to just try to maintain current purchasing power and value of the potfolio and hard assets. So, have 50% in real estate and 50% stock portfolio (holding 10% cash in T-Bills and 10% cash in Credit Union). Been buying gold stocks last year to go along w/ my heavy weight in natural resource dividend paying stocks.

Also have built a basket of AG stocks blended dividend ok (everybody must eat). Looking at more utilities. I have a basket of REIT stocks including timber and Farm land (again holding real assets).

Trying to stay defensive but looking for pockets of growth. Have my eye on some real estate but prices need to come down 50% (back to 2009 levels) w/ focus in Nevada (as I own a rental property there).

To maintain purchasing power, looking at Bitcoin w/ the focus to have enough cash reserves to pay cash for next multi-unit building I Buy. Hard to say what the best approach is other than stay diversified.

I have set up (1) a SQ App that allows one to transact Bitcoin and (2) a Robinhood brokerage account (also allows you to Buy Bitcoin). Some municipalities also accept property tax payments in Bitcoin (a fee maybe as high as 3%).

$US continues to remain strong but for how long?
