Daniel: Good observation on the 640k upstream. As far as I
am aware, (someone correct me if I am wrong) WSTL as yet does not
have a 640k upstream product. They did promise something to that
effect for later in 1996 but I think it is not out yet.

A number of other points from the SwB release are:

1) Limited crosstalk and interference betwenn T1 and ADSL in a 25 pair
copper binder. J Rector was talking about this a while back and it
seems that we have some real world test results now. JR what's your
take on this ?

2) The RFP award is coming in the next few weeks.

3) Deployment initailly was planned for late 1996 (I think) but the
release says they plan on deploying in mid-1997 !??

Just thought I'd share my thinking with you... What did you make
of the MOT "ADSL/DMT line-driver chip" release ?
