When I did the live clone with 2019 DiskWizard, my source drive was a Seagate HDD to the destination Western Digital SSD. It worked fine, I'm just not used to doing clones with Windows running.

I didn't experiment with restoring an image with the 2019 version, but Acronis has to still let you use a CD for that.
