I honestly do not think anyone who runs SI would give a damn.
I think you may be missing what this is about.

I've been on SI now over 20 years. There are many people I converse with, mostly golf. I actually met up with a fellow SI'er from Michigan on a golf course in Maryland.

The contacting SI part is to let "us" know, wondering why a "friend" of 20 years has suddenly stopped posting.
