The only 'forgiving' that needs to be done between the two nations is the US forgiving
Japan for their attack on Pearl Harbor..Something this nation should NEVER forget.

Christ was reported to have said, "forgive your enemies, and love thy neighbor as you love yourself."

The Bible says, "Forgive those that have wronged you seventy times seven."

Now most of the folks in the USA are Christians, and while you will "NEVER" forget/forgive, I am sure there are many that have forgiven Japan for their attack on Pearl Harbor. IMHO, the US atom bomb attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki constituted disproportionate retaliation, and as Japan was already on the verge of surrendering, the Atom Bomb attacks were criminal, inhumane and unnecessary.

Hey Marko, don't you think the Atom Bomb attacks were more than sufficient compensation? I suppose you want more tons of flesh to be delivered, in perpetuity? , eh? Go tell Japan what will satisfy you!!!
