I wished you used another analogy than Lyft and Uber :) personally I can't see the economics working out to a profitable business. I am a UI shareholder so I believe the company is attacking an interesting niche and I do like the move to broaden their usefulness to their core client. I agree the tool can be broaden to encompass the general photography sector and I guess the question is if they have the resources to do so.
