I don't/won't margin, did a few years ago and never got hurt real bad but got the idea I don't like the downside potential. I sold SNPX rather than give my broker the money to cover a margin call on CMAG I think, can't quite remember but ouch does that bring back bad memories, 1)broker(exactly what he made me), 2) CMAG, learning pain.
Anyway after I sold the SNPX(now BAY) of course it went way up. I learned mostly through lost opportunity rather than loss itself but I learned.
