Don't you miss those times? When I recall The Napping House, it brings to mind warmth and coziness, cuddling on the bed with my babies, and yes-for some reason, the sun streaming in across us as we drifted off. Did you ever read King Bidgood's in the Bathtub, another book with wonderful illustrations? And I always enjoyed the Leo Lionni books with all their primary colors.
However, CW was obsessed with Mr Small's Auto, which I thought was boring and dreadful. And Ammo always liked Where is My Mother?, which was monotonous as hell. "Are you my mother?" "No, I'm not your mother." "Are you my mother?" "No, I'm not your mother." I wanted to call Social Services and report that damn mommybird for neglect.
