Greetings!!! Iam Ron Samber fron Anchorage Ak. I have followed
your comments with great interest since xmas '97. I recently
bought dis feb puts at the right moment and sold same for a 100% gain.Great fun!! Also followed you all into intc puts which are fareing poorly. Still have 4 weeks... I bought IBM puts yesterday when IBM hit 108. Got feb 95 puts @ 7/8. Placed order to sell
@ 2. I think it's now worth more but will stick to plan.
IBM has DROPPED LIKE A STONE TODAY!
Currently @ 100 ish. I assume news but havent looked yet. If
you know why, pls advise. As of now both puts and calls for feb
and for april are about a point lower than they were on feb 12
when IBM was @ 1001/8. Feb can be explained by less time but
not April. Barring discovery of news or sound advice which
results from this post, I will buy some(under priced??) IBM
calls. I would also be interested in opinions on ethan allen
(ETH) which has been rising and falling between about 32 and
about 40 and which has shot strait up in a few days from about
36 to about 50!! I can't find any news. In my limited experiance,
this sort of strait up shot usually falls back. Bought may 40
puts @ 11/2. They have fallen in price since I bought them.
To anyone who has not figured it out: I am somewhat new to
options. Please keep that in mind when evaluating my contributions.
If you choose to communicate with me, be aware that I do this
in the AM and again in the PM. That would be around noon on
Wall st and again 8 to 12 hours later.
