The issue that was KNOWN was IRAN had been identified as a country that was supplying weapons to this country and that country and had been involved with this country and that country.

So it wasn't a question of what the leaders of IRAN were doing or in fact thinking. DEATH TO AMERICA.

It was a question of understanding it's probably not a wise decision to hand over X billion to be used to continue those efforts and more.

So you walk away. If others agree with you fine.

If not you identify who THEY are and you deal with them as required.

But what you do not do, is ignore or rationalize until one day that country that could have been contained is now a serious danger.

That's my view.

You are entitled to yours.
