Fake news Snowy. It always gets hot in southern Europe in summer. That's why figs grown there are so delicious. World temperatures have risen not even 1 deg C in 100 years and that's the air temperature over land.

Some of those "records" for the breathless news media are fake because it's fun to claim a record. Somebody can hold a thermometer near some hot asphalt and exclaim how hot the air is. Hey presto news and attention.

You'll get the coming cold. Predicted with 2020 foresight by Mq in Oct 2007 and already the last couple of winters have been brrrrrrr.
