Considering recent news regarding 3D Realms involvement in G.o.D., future GT/3D Realms projects might be limited or non existent after DN5. Doesn't it makes sense that GT would try to maximize the "legs" on the DN property by exploiting it to its fullest at each point in its product cycle ?? By releasing DN "A Time to Kill" they're getting more mileage out of Duke. Later, after the PC version of DN 4 is released, if it sells well, they could release the conversion on PSX & N64. This would occur in 99 extending the life of the property. Another factor is royalty concerns regarding DN 4, maybe GT doesn't have to prepay much to bring "A Time 2 Kill" to market. This sort of thinking would be a very welcome change to past management mentality.
Cheers
Bill
