Very odd … obviously deep-state at wet work, but very extremely funny, at multiple levels

On casual word search I netted this below search result … that which links US Navy money to China solar player via Luxembourg, and I thought ...

It is good knowing that team USA navy money flows to team China via Tennessee and Luxembourg. The boys are playing well together. The many would, I guess, believe that USA renewables spontaneously generates out of world ex-China, made in Luxembourg, a beehive of American manufacturing activity

Funny does not begin to describe the situation

Power on, lights off, but when I clicked on the link ...

… I got phuYUTFE^&CX$#ck-all-nothing-clean-scrub

I noted to self, “do not look behind the curtain, for there is neither curtain nor behind that which isn’t there

Team China is a babe when it comes to censorship. Tennessee is the master

The state's largest solar farm has opened in Millington.

The project, which includes more than 525,000 solar panels, is the result of a partnership between the City of Millington; the U.S. Navy; Memphis Light, Gas and Water; the Tennessee Valley Authority(TVA); and Silicon Ranch Corp. The latter is a Nashville-based company that is the U.S. solar platform for Shell and one of the largest independent solar power producers in the country.

As part of the deal, Silicon Ranch leased 72 acres of base land from the Navy and bought 348 acres from the Millington Industrial Development Board (MIDB), according to a press release.

The majority of the solar panels are on private land, but Millington's Naval Support Activity (NSA) Mid-South received a new, alternative electrical feed that will increase its energy security and resilience. The solar farm will generate power for both the NSA Mid-South and TVA "at cost-competitive rates for the next 20 years," the release said.

"This innovative energy project is the result of a truly collaborative effort," said Silicon Ranch cofounder and CEO Matt Kisber, former commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. "We are especially honored to commission the largest solar facility in our home state of Tennessee and to support the mission of both NSA Mid-South and TVA."

The release also noted the project's importance in illustrating "the value of divesting Navy land that isn't crucial to an installation's mission and could be redeveloped through partnerships to benefit the Navy and the surrounding community."

According to a quote from Millington Mayor Terry Jones, the NSA Mid-South provides a $700 million economic impact to the area.

More than 300 people were employed to construct the solar facility.

The farm joins other notable solar projects in the area. In September 2016, Memphis' Ikea completed the largest rooftop solar array in Tennessee, with more than 4,400 panels sitting on nearly 251,000 square feet.
