"that would go against Fauxcahontas' famous quote, 'There is nobody in this country who got rich on their own. Nobody.'" I could maybe disagree. Miners have been known to strike it rich. "In other words, California only got rich because of the rest of America" California was born rich. Now we have an entire world to keep us rich. "Hence it's part of California's 'social contract' to give that back to the rest of the nation" It's part of the Red States' contract to say "thank you". They broke that contract.
