I use Acronis True Image 2017 and the free WD Edition is about the same.

Both use the Acronis bootloader, so you can schedule a clone or image while running Windows, but have to restart and the Acronis bootloader will take over and complete the task.

The free WD Edition only works if you have a Western Digital drive connected to your computer.

Btw, Acronis True Image only supports NTFS and FAT16 regardless of the release new or old.

Guess I can forget about exFAT.
