Auto Collision - Radars

Actually, collision avoidance systems based on radars are being tested extensively. The cost of the radar which can be installed in the bumpers on sides is low cost - say under $100. It is based on a discovery of short range radar (lidar??) by a scientist from one of the national labs. GPS will be way too complicated and expensive.
