That's sort of right. But as school and other mass shootings show, even individuals can do a lot of damage. When slavers and other evil doers get in power it's ethical to fight back.

I prefer voting as a way of deciding outcomes. My point is that voting is not an ethical process. Have a look at South Africa and Zimbabwe. Venezuela.

Voting is statistically pointless. I doubt 1 vote has ever swung a general election. Hanging chads were close. Marginal seats have been decided by minuscule majorities. But 1 vote didn't decide.
Making it compulsory is laughable whichI think started the discussion.
