I fully agree with you and I think this is why it's highly important to be and remain highly vigilant...
But I don't see a catastrophic ending for us, I see another win... what will be in another 30 years, who knows, but if the tension does increase and a public upheaval does ignite, then I still see a win for us...
By definition, liberals are cowards... so far, all the political violence has been done by those cowards, e.g., attacking only the weak and unarmed, chasing people out of restaurants, including a mass shooting with a rifle at conservatives playing baseball in a public park, and so on...
Once the right begins to push back, and it will surely and eventually get to that point, it will not end pretty for those cowards...
