I'm just saying there are plenty of pictures circulating the web that were taken during the Obama administration. These holding pens have always been there on the border. They look awful when the numbers of migrants trying to cross the border increases.

The problem is simply that your side wouldn't allow anything to be done in preparation for what was sure to happen when the economy heated up. Now these pens are overfull. What's worse is that there's not been an increase in the number of judges needed to adjudicate the asylum requests so these migrants will be penned up for longer than before.

If you can't see what's going on and what will only get worse, then, I'm sorry, you're being willfully obtuse.
So far the only answer your candidates are offering is basically just to let them in. Millions and millions of voters in 2016 were just like me. Upset by the absence of border security and worried about what happens when waves of poor and ignorant people are coming into the country at the same time low wage jobs are leaving the country. It's incredible that the country actually has produced a labor balance and absorbed all the excess labor that existed during Obama's years. It's what I thought might happen but has far exceeded my hopes. The fact that we have a tight labor market producing wage increases without also producing much in the way of inflation is also more than I hoped for.

Are you sure you want to change that when you vote next year?
