Personal report from the Patriotic trenches!

I was seated less than 20 yards from the President in front of the Lincoln Memorial yesterday. It was awesome folks! A real love fest for America! The crowd was MASSIVE, spanning the entire lawn in the distance behind me. The President gave a terrific speech, first with moving tributes of our history as a nation, followed by tributes to our great military. The fly-overs were awesome! Especially the Air Force and Blue Angels.

The crowd had a blast. It was a college rally atmosphere with the home team being America!

I could not believe the intensity of the fireworks show! I've been to Disney a dozen times and watched some great fireworks, but this one beat them all. The music perfectly fit the Patriotic theme as the rockets exploded all around and above us. I literally had ash all over me! We had a blast!
