Not to mention, any MacBook with a Retina display (2013 to now, IIRC) is prone to what’s called “Stain Gate” where the display AR coating comes off leaving a nasty looking display. Apple has a “silent” recall going on this where they will replace the display up to 3 years after purchase (IIRC).

There’s even a Facebook page on the problem. I have replaced my mid-2013 MacBook Pro display once. Some have replaced theirs as many as 4 times. The replacement displays have the same problem. The Facebook page:
