Craig: sorry off topic (and I will not mention it again on this thread), but in reply to your statement that FIBR is a complete waste of time, a total sham. If you have any reason for that statement please let me know, but with over 15 million shares with a rough value of 60 million dollars trading hands so far this year (only 13 trading days), I believe that this is serious accumulation by investors with money who know that this company is not a sham!!! With today's 9.94% increase they have driven the price up 172% so far this year.
Its interesting that NASA it testing Osicom's GigaMux biz.yahoo.com
Brooks Fiber Properties, Inc is also testing Osicom's GigaMux(tm) dense wavelength division multiplexer (DWDM). biz.yahoo.com
and the news that seems to be behind the current price increase is the NET +ARM by Osicom
A January 5 press release stated "Osicom First To Embed Complete Network Connectivity System On A Sliver Of Silicon" biz.yahoo.com
Jan. 8, 1998-- Integrated Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:INTS - news) a leading supplier of embedded software solutions, today announced that its pSOSystem real-time operating system (RTOS) will drive the market's first network connectivity chip. NET+ARM(tm), produced by Osicom Technologies, Inc. biz.yahoo.com
I think that its peoples belief that this company is a hoax, possibly because they have failed to report a solid income in years past and have always had high hopes, that Osicom is trading at such a low price as it is now. True, this month's news does not mean they will report an income this quarter, or even next, I just wanted to help other small investors by letting them know that IMHO this company is real, alive and well judging by the recent price increase and volume trading. Brian
ps. I know you shorted FIBR today, I was just wondering if you had any hard evidence to do that? |
