I've spent a few hours over the past couple of days watching Rolfe Witzsche videos on an impending full-scale ice age..

Maybe you've covered his views before, but I had never heard of him until David Dubyne mentioned him and I checked him out.

I don't buy into a lot of a utopian metaphysical views that he has, but he presented some interesting ideas about the Sun that follow in line with the EU theories, primarily that the Sun is a Plasma star (as all are) and it's energy is driven by intra-galactic plasma streams which are quickly diminishing. As this source of energy diminishes, thus will the Sun's energy diminish, leading to a very quick "digital flip" of the Sun to a lower energy state, resulting in pushing the climate to colder norms.

To take what he has to say with any credibility, one has to believe the Sun is a plasma body.. Secondly, one has to look at the Solar wind decreases (and it is apparently decreasing markedly) as evidence of a dimming Sun.

What I'm finding lacking is his evidence for the Solar System moving out of a position where it connects to the interstellar plasma streams and losing it's magnetic "primer" energy that amplifies the Sun.

Nonetheless, I found his views interesting, and something I will be watching closely for evidence. He obviously would take great exception to Zharkova's views, as he believes this minimum is the last gasp of the Sun and that the Sun will "switch off" by 2050 for an extended period of time, resulting in major threats to our civilization.
