I think he'd be the better one to ask. But what I think he was implying is that if the drill is headed straight down, they're confident that the pipe is underneath (as opposed to dilineation angle-drilling). I'm not sure that that thinking really applies, but I'd be happy to believe it! I'm curious how he knows that to be the case (straight drilling). C'mon, Chuck-- sing a little! <smile>
Hey, why not go straight down into what looks like a prime target, and see how deep the kimb. goes? ;) I do know that the team is quite confident in their targets, based on what they know and have interpretted. This is a whole new learning process tho, remember.
Re. the turn around time-- I guess for samples from the site to the V.lab and back with a confirmation of Kimb. is about 5 days. As you point out, unless diamonds are immediately visible, lab testing can take a lot longer (depends on availability, etc, -as in, who gets greased the best!).
