Many reasons you mention why interest rates can't rise. Can't imagine the unfunded pension liabilities build up in NJ after 15 years of sideways to down financial markets? So many of the old timers in the public sector born 1935-55 got the most generous packages are still around. Thinking people like Koan who live in their own bubble..

I like your term zombie companies can also extrapolate that to zombie consumers ( a much larger percentage of the population lately) who have zero or negative net worth, no savings, live paycheck to paycheck for a host of reasons will get crushed next downturn..

Only good news for now banks are in a strong position. But for how long in flat yield curve with more deadbeats and socialists than ever????
