David, today was not a good day with E-Trade. I think that they are as good as anyone else, but today was not a good day. First, when I tried to sell my calls earlier in the day at 5 1/4, the bid-ask moved
up to 5 3/8 - 5 5/8 and was not filled. I did get it filled late in the day.
Then at 3:55, I placed an order to short at the market, and I think that
it was not executed because of funds, because their computer wasn't
showing the funds from the sale of my longs and calls. At 4:03, they
corrected the mistake and said that the order was "reinstated", however, the market was closed!.
If MU does open down, I'm going to have to get ugly this time.
So, I have neither shorts or puts, (or any position in MU).

Late PS - just checked the "tape", and the trades that you refer to, appears to be a correction. My computer indicates:
Cancelled: 15,600 shares
Sold 10,000 shares
Sold 5,600 shares |
