So very true, and the replacement threads are nearly as bad.

Here we are on e day, and almost no posts or comments about them.

Here is my projection from Oct, in an attempt to get this on track:

>>>>>>>>>>Deferred rev's were up by a rather staggering 252 million. Now 1.671 billion.

CFO says .82 next quarter, and room for only a little improvement from there in q3 and q4.

This projects to, assuming MSFT is being conservative:.72+.84+.86+.87=3.29 for the year.

At 132, the current pe is 40.12 based on e of 3.29 for fiscal year.

Don't forget the 1.671 billion waiting in the wings.<<<<<<<<,

Deferred rev's grew more. The asia comments appear to be particular to SE asia, perhaps they are not including Japan in "the far east".

Based on guidance, raising the fiscal year projection to 3.35 would be prudent. And this is a year without blow out products. Conservatively, next year e should be 4.10+. MSFT is selling at 40.5 this years pe, and 33x next year.
