There was an article the other day that just came out and said it for the Dems: we don't need to get back white voters.

Presidential elections are being decided by 1 million votes. 1 million less white voters in the Upper Midwest and no Democrat will win the White House for generations to come.

This is the same calculus used by Dems to turn red states into brown, err, blue states. We have a race to see which party can win the demographics of the future.
