CNN reported as if it were a fact, "Trump tweets racist attacks at progressive Democratic congresswomen."
That got my attention. Obviously he scored or CNN would have ignored the tweets.
President Trump tweeted today, "So interesting to see 'Progressive' Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run.
"Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how .it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!"
Not mentioned in CNN's article was what triggered the criticism of the Four Horse Women of Color of the Democalypse.
Cameron Cawthorne of the Washington Free Beacon reported last night, "Freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) on Saturday questioned the patriotism of American-born citizens, claiming she 'probably loves this country more than anyone who is naturally born' in the United States."
For some unfathomable reason, it is OK for a foreign-born person to question the patriotism of natives, but not OK to criticize her.
Omar's remarks are part of a full-court press against American natives. Democrats want to dilute the value of American citizenship through open borders.
She also raised a point that I expect will be made again: she had to pass a test to become a citizen while natives never did.
Omar should be wary. President Trump has an uncanny sense of prescience. Far from being irrational and impulsive in his tweets, The Donald uses Twitter to make news and set the national agenda. His tweet was calculated to shine the lite on Cawthorne's story, which received a Drudge link.
President Trump wins the battle before he engages the enemy.
Omar could help her case by saying something -- anything -- nice about the country that took her in, fed her, housed her, schooled her, and elected her.
