Great thread..I just bought a micron about 6months ago for $2,000 its worth about 500 now.. I have pushed around the idea of building from the ground up(my wife is going to strangle me) some people like fast cars I like fast computers. If cost are anyones concern I would suggest saving money and not buy the fastest processor. You will get better performance for your $ by getting the most RAM you can and the best graphix card u can. I believe Computer shopper(see S.W. thread link) has a feature once a year similiar to this thread.
