StockMan >>Re -- I'm stating that I can get their products when I need them...<<

>>The following is what your post said and implied demand.

At computer sales in my area if you don't get
there early all of the AMD CPU's are sold out and all that's left is Intel and Cyrix.. <<

I get there early!

>>Get real AMD is trying to do the impossible, and your "get when I need them" will soon dissappear. Rest assured AMD's products are quickly being obsoleted.<<

Such hostility... I'm not exactly sure where you're coming from...
I stated my experiences, observations and opinion. Nothing more.
As an INTC stockholder I believe competition is good for Intel. Don't
want Intel to become too complacent do we??? BTW, I sure hope you're
wrong about AMD dissapearing because it would put a damper on Intel's
innovations and their need to develop and release new technologies quickly.

The days of Intel yawning and releasing products whenever they felt
like it are over. history.... gone... Intel's gonna be releasing
new technologies faster then drying paint in the summer. Intel's
rigid pricing structure is gone too... finished... The end result
is competition from AMD turned up the heat on Intel. Intel cpu's
work. AMD cpu's work.

Why do you think Intel is releasing a motherboard w/ faster
bus speeds because they just wanted to give the consumers a little
"something extra" or do think they're growing weary (and losing sales)
to the overclocking camp? Bad press for Intel those wild and crazy
overclockers.

Peace, love and eternal wisdom,

Mike
