Ogi - it is easier to protect IP in the EU and China than the US at present. I am in the space, and Chinese patents are better than the same issued by the USPTO. The Alice 101 challenge years ago swung the courts from protecting property, to not doing so. With the supreme court now firmly in conservative hands, the pendulum should swing back the other way, but takes years.
Innovation has taken a serious hit in America.
