Van,

Here's something interesting. It appears that CS Wireless has increased its residential rates for high-speed wireless Internet access in Dallas from $59.95 to $99.95 per month. That's 40 bucks! (So much for our associate Ken becoming a subscriber.) See thebeam.com

The price increase tells me 3 things:

1) There are presently no other competitors in the Dallas area in the same category of services,
2) CS must be feeling pretty confident about its product,
3) CS is focusing on commercial subscribers.

CS should also be very very close to launching its digital wireless cable service in Dallas. See thebeam.com

Ken, who is your cable provider? Would you give CS a call and inquire about signing up? I would expect the digital wireless cable service to offer superior video/audio quality, an equal to or greater number of programming channels, electronic programming guide, impulse pay-per-view, a full range of control features integrated into the digital settop, competitive pricing, plus all the local channels. And all this, of course, without the annoying rain fade that kills DBS reception. Please let us know.
