Firstly, they need to distinguish themselves from Trump and offer a genuine alternative. 1. Oppose Trump's tariffs against China and Europe. Show the American public how counterproductive the tariffs have been and offer an alternative. Be pro trade. 2. Propose single payer healthcare and stick to your guns against insurance opposition. 3. Support the NYS free college tuition package for families earning under 125K. 4. Forget about climate change and Green New Deal. The American public equates that with the lunatic Fringe of the Dem Party. 5. Tax cut solely for middle income. 6. Go against the NRA and ban ownership of guns. 7. Support Roe vs Wade. 8. Stop talking about raising taxes except when it is absolutely necessary ( reasons 2 and 3 above). 9. Support public infrastructure bill. Give voters a realistic option. Harris, Warren, Sanders, the Indy Mayor and Biden don't cut it; they will all lose against Trump. The Dems need a fresh face with distinct alternatives to Trump's policies. 2 and 3 can be sold to the American public. Climate change and Green New Deal can't.
