Well, I agree that the military budget is outrageous, but I think we are in the minority on this. America's dark open secret is that the military is what gives our businesses a competitive advantage. We are at endless economic war with the rest of the world. This is why I like Tulsi.

Re taxes: In the same paragraph you say raise taxes on oil, gas, cigarettes... and that America is anti-tax and won't stand for taxes on trades. Typically we tax those products and industries who aren't powerful enough to defend themselves against taxation. I think you overestimate the impact of the trade tax on regular folks. In general I think the rule of taxation should be that at every income level, tax to the point of pain, and provide good value for every taxed dollar...

So, of the 327 million people in the US, who do you think might do a good job?

OT: A maxim I've heard and think has a lot of wisdom: The US would do best if we were Libertarian on the federal level, Republican on the State level, if local government was Democratic, and if family and friends were Socialist.
