Actually what happened... I wound up returning the Parallel card, it was a SIIG, to the store, I couldn't get it to work at all.
I wound up buying a BELKIN BITRONICS Switch Box...and plugged it into LPT1, and plugged the HP 600 in one end and the Syquest EZ 235 into the other end...and WALLA, problem solved.
I called Syquest back, and they were IMPRESSED with my solution...because NO ON could figure it out...not HP, or Syquest, or SIIG.
It's not the ideal situation, but it's better than nothing, and I am still able to use the EZ, altho if I want to use it, I have to boot it up first, and then have it's driver loaded, ;)
