Introducing our new family member. Bella (~2 years old) decided to adopt us last week. So far she turned out much less of a problem we suspected her to be. As expected, some insecurities remain. We still have to be careful with other dogs and people she doesn’t know but she warms up easily to both on her own time.

Early basic command training is working well. That is as long as no squirrels or rabbits are around and she has already caught on to most of the house rules.

I’m seriously considering renaming her from “Bella” to “Gluestick” as she is right on my heels every time I move. A sign of insecurity which will work itself out over time.
