Have a friend who cash crops here in Sheboygan County.

Last year they laid 12500 feet of black tile pipe (plastic like in your pic).

That boosts the yield of all the land. It drains the excess, but feeds the dry also.

They bought an old huge dozer (diesel engine was bad). They then bought a used diesel and installed it into the working carrier of the dozer. Then hung a stinger on the back that buries the pipe 4-6 feet down.

Amazingly inexpensive.

Not only do they farm a lot of acreage, but poor Brian had to lay out that pipe in his spare time.

During planting and harvest - he never sleeps - young hyper kid, getting it done while still young enough to do it.

His Dad is in his 70's and out there every day too!

Amazingly creative and industrious people!

Ag is amazingly innovative - but not obvious unless you are out there doing it.
