Trump: 'Mueller made Biden look like a dynamo'

In a Thursday night phone interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, President Trump joked that special counsel Robert Mueller's subdued performance on Capitol Hill made former Vice President Joe Biden look energetic.
Responding to a question about how he regarded the current top contenders for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, Trump said, "Sleepy Joe [Biden] is OK, but he's fading, I think he's fading fast. The only good thing about Mueller is it made Joe Biden look like a dynamo ... if you watched Mueller's performance yesterday, I think probably Biden is the one that asked him to go on."
Biden is currently leading the pack of 2020 Democratic presidential contenders with 29 points, according to RealClearPolitics. Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are the closest to Biden, with 14.5 and 15 points, respectively.

Trump further chided the top few Democratic candidates, saying, "You have Elizabeth Warren, formerly known as 'Pocahontas' ... her whole life was a fake ... Bernie looks like he missed his time ... he's flailing all over the place, he's going crazy. I call him 'Crazy Bernie.'" |
