LOL. yeah, I remember that during Obama's first term. The Republicans were pretty silly during that time. I didn't like it then either. You can go through my posts during that time on the Obama thread and see what I had to say about it. However, what I'm seeing now is whole several orders of magnitude more caustic. It has metastasized into a raging violence and destruction of our institutions and intelligence agencies and an all out war against Trump. This is nothing like what happened during Obama's first couple of years. So I understand the comparison, but not equivalent.
