Actually I took my pension a bit early.. actuarially it made sense.. plus my incomes from self employed and elsewhere provide further contributions.. so it is still growing... There is a break even point somewhere in my 80s I recall not including the ongoing contributions.. if I die earlier I am ahead.. after break even point it is moot...

Great your mom is still traveling.. Mine is 81.. called to to say she drove up to the chalet yesterday with her 82 year old neighbour for company .. to meet a contractor for a kitchen reno LOL :)) She will be lost if they ever take her license away :( but so far all cylinders firing well.. cognitive is AOK.. Knees a little off...

Lucky for me I have my son working for me as driving is problematic right now as the left foot gets very painful if stuck in one positron for a while.. even 15 minutes..
