What is the actual residential cost of natural gas currently in Brazil ? . If your price is actually US $12 per million BTU, your retail cost is slightly lower than it is in the US. Last December when it was cold we used 13 million BTU which cost $168.31. This retail price is $12.95 per million BTU, or $12.52 per 1,000 cubic feet. The bill from most US firms charge per "Therm" which is 100,000 BTU, and they billed us for 130 Therms.
