Had a meeting today with a fund manager at CI. Quite interesting. He was quite bearish on gold and oil stocks as well as base metals. He was quite bullish however on uranium, drawing to attention the severe supply-demand imbalance. Feels much the same way about the recent annoucement of declining reactors in 30 years as I do. who cares! most companies can't figure out what they are doing quarter to quarter. 30 years is a long way down the road, and a lot of money can be made over that period. besides, nuclear power may have found more commercial use by then. There may be a new source of energy and oil will not be needed! Long term investing has its merits, but lets keep things in perspective!!!!
