Things have been much more upbeat around here since you took the helm, and the consistent, steady turnaround at Borland is very much noticed and appreciated. I do have a couple questions that I hope you could answer: 1) With the announcement of the upcoming VSGN acquisition, many of us were quite surprised that the $50 million ($25 raised, $25 more available) of private financing from 6/97 wasn't used. This money was earmarked for investing in or acquiring technology. What happened with it? 2) The management team that you've put in place is top notch. I especially appreciate the fact that you've made some appointments from within, particularly Zack Urlocker. You've built quite a team. What areas (if any) do you feel are still lacking at Borland? 3) What day are you reporting earnings? - Michael Coley - wwol.com <--- I've Moved!
